Well, in principle you are right about mentioning the source of the stock. However in this particular case, I do not think it was too stringent a requirement: the construction of mechanical watches has been the same for more than 70 years now, so there are truly thousands of such photographs all over the place, with identical mechanical pieces located at the very same place and under a similar light. Hardly a work one could identify as personal !
Anyway, I do not know where this idea of yours came from, but it is a great idea for sure, and one I had never seen used before. Hats off !

I love the semi-realism in her face, and the contrast of that to the blocky color with the gear pattern in her bust. Very nice
