Looks great Jon. Does it deal primarily with traditional materials, or does it delve into digital art? I might find the answer in parts 1 and 2 of the youtube thingie, so I'm off to look.
Sorry for the late reply John. It's a bit of both. The techniques shown in the walkthroughs are written for traditional, but I used digital, since exactly the same principles apply at a basic level, and I don't use any digital "tricks" that trad can't replicate.
Cool. Although I don't class myself as a beginner these days, I'll probably pick a copy up soon to add to my growing collection of art books. Keep up the good work you and your fellow ninjas are doing.
Wow - the best of your videos so far as it shows me exactely what i wanted to know about the book. The creatures that are in the book and a few pages so i can see the detail level of the tutorials. Sound is also very good this time! As i am in danger of getting killed for buying anything private at this time of the year i put the book on my amazon wishlist and hope my wife will take hints...
Glad I read your answer for JohnMalcolm, I really thought your paintings are not made trad. even I would loved to see that (too!)
