This shows an idea of what the rebuilt Lake-town might look like. The aim was to give enough info for Loremasters to be able to guide their players through Lake-town, without being too prescriptive about individual streets and so on, which runs the risk of being too dry.

If that's a tropical or equatorial area (and my ground assumptions apply to the setting in that level) blood sucking insects will make the nights very hard for the locals. Unless they have some very effective way to deal with that. I was told insects are not much of a problem in very cold regions. The walls will stop most the wind during winter, I suppose. But I will venture the speculation that they are not in place just to deal with the cold air.
Looks like a nice place to live. Whatever the problems are inside those walls I get the impression they are not as bad as the problems outside, most days.
